Loans By Kathy: What is Your Definition?

What is Your Definition?

What is your definition of success?  Does your definition change depending on what aspect of our life we are referencing?

I was recently asked this question by a family member looking for input for a college paper.  I gave her my definition which was pretty simple,

SUCCESS = Identified goal + hard work

In order to complete her assignment she needs more input.  I thought reaching out to the successful Active Rain community would be a good start.

So if you are willing to help out, how would you define success?

For me it's simple Kathy - to lead a balanced life.

Kathy,

Great question.  There is no one easy answer.  A lot will change depending on your stage in life.

There are so many factors, but to only worry about the big stuff and enjoy life throughout the moments.  Right now with the crazy spring time season, I had a nice quieter day with family.  Life is good.

All the best, Michelle

HI kathy....success can be defined as any and all actions that are brought to completion.... waking up in the morning is the start of a successful day.... your eyes opened.... and the tasks become more complicated from there... every day has successful moments and plenty of them....

Kathy: I would define success as giving your best effort at whatever endeavor you are pursuing...be it selling real estate, going to school, or whatever other passion drives you to be your best.

Success for me would be being able to stop working whenever I felt like it.

I like your forumula, Kathy.  I also like Leslie's definition, above.  For me, success is reaching a goal having put 100% effort forth.

Malcolm, straight to the point.

Michelle, that is a valid point.

Anita, I like it!

Leslie, that would work for me too!

Kathryn, thanks so much!
