Now that I have your attention, I am not unemployed. However, as commission only sales professionals every day starts as if we were unemployed. If you think about it, until you have done something to make a sale every day, technically you're unemployed. And I might add without unemployment benefits.
So what are you doing today to ensure a sale and a pay check. Here's a list of suggestions for you to review:
1. have you blogged today
2. have you called a past client
3. have you written a personal note to a client or referral partner
4. have you contacted recent prospects
5. have you attended any networking events
6. have you made any cold calls
7. have you attended any training sessions
8. have you reached out to your referral partners
Doing anyone of the first four will certainly get you started. It has been my experience that reaching out to a past client generally results in at least one new referral. These are the types of referrals I like best, because I know my past client has already sold their friend on my abilities.
